Emeritus Professor John Molony

Founded by the late Professor John Molony early in 2000, the ANU Emeritus Faculty consists of retired academic and professional staff of the University who wish to continue an association with the University, to serve its interests and those of the wider community. Other appropriate retired persons who share such a wish may be invited to become members. A key aim of the Faculty is to foster collegiality and mutual respect among the membership.

The ANU Emeritus Faculty is an ‘independent, incorporated association under ACT law', with a current annual membership fee of $30. Membership of the ANU Emeritus Faculty does not in any way imply or confer Emeritus or any Honorary status, nor does it imply or confer any relationship with the Australian National University. The ANU Emeritus Faculty is not an 'official' body of the ANU.

The list of members of the ANU Emeritus Faculty (below) is a current list of the Faculty’s financial members, and is not an ‘official’ ANU listing. The official ANU listing of the University’s Emeritus Professors can be viewed at: https://services.anu.edu.au/human-resources/achieve-recognise/emeritus-professors and the official ANU listing of the University’s Emeritus Fellows can be viewed at: https://services.anu.edu.au/human-resources/achieve-recognise/university-fellows
